And how long did you work on it? I know, you're still working on it, but when did you finish the very first version?
But keep it up! I'll train some more
I did the first version in Visual Basic and it took me three hours to complete. The creation timestamp on the project file says 26 December 2008. The first Flash version's -- which took maybe a week? -- timestamp says 18 January 2009.
And congrats by the way for being the first person other than the creator and his brother to finish the new version

"That must be very boring, isn't it?"
"Yes."
"So why--"
"Except..."
"Yes? Except what?"
"Game shows. We quite like game shows."

Ah, that quickly! Actually it's also rather nicely designed, you do have some experience with that, right? The little animations are smooth and clean and although I don't have a clue about flash, it's not like I have seen that in every flash game I have played...
Anyway, I still wonder how quick you guys are. I got one game last night at around 5 minutes but as it seems I made a mistake somewhere - had one field left with a bomb but no flag...
But for the moment that's about as fast as I can go without too many errors.
I'll keep that training up. Thanks for the encouragement
It surprises me as well sometimes how fast we can finish a game, but I guess it's lots of practise. Whenever I wait for something or someone I play it. You train yourself to look out for combinations of numbers. Have you tried the themed game? When you play it there are several times where you have only one thing to do, and it's hard to spot. It seems impossible to figure out the whole board, but it is possible
But I should upload the non-beta version 2.0 -- it's got a fancy highscore thingy

I'm sure that with a lot of training you can get really fast at solving such puzzles. I see myself improving a lot by playing only a little (compared to you).
Of course, if I get a nice idea for an addition or see some bugs, I'll make sure to tell you
